Tigers Vs Tigers Game
In the event that there is a Tigers Vs Tigers game, please have your team manager contact the Uniform Coordinator to access 'clash tops' for one team.
Forfeiting a game
At times it may be necessary for your team to forfeit. This is done by the Team Manager or Coach contacting the President advising the date and time of the game to be forfeited. The team is given an average number of points for that game. The club receives a fine if the forfeit is within one week of the game.
Game day expectations
The Team Manager will assign the parents on a rotating roster to score and potentially provide a mid-game and after game snack.
Moorabbin Tigers expects all parents to treat the umpires and Sabre's staff, volunteers, and other teams with respect and good sportsmanship.

Starting a team/ There is no team in my age group
A team consists of 7-8 player (optimal). If there is no team in your child's age group, a team can be formed by having a minimum of 7 players and a coach. Ask your child to personally invite his/her friends to come to play and join the team; ideally, all children should be born in the same calendar year (in the same school year is a second preference).
When does the basketball season commence?
Autumn Season runs over terms 1 and 2;
Spring Season runs over terms 3 and 4
We understand that this can cause issues with traditionally summer and winter sports. If there is a team you are interested in joining, please contact the coach/TM and they will be in contact with the boys/girls coordinator.
When and where are the games played?
Games are mostly played at Sabres Basketball Association (SBA) Stadium located on Tulip Street, Sandringham.
NB: Players and spectators under 18 years of age have free admittance to the stadium on game days. Parents can either pay a casual fee to enter the stadium or purchase a membership card (link on our home page)
